As the picture of the Grey Singing Finch in the original post is partially obscured, here is another picture showing a wild Grey Singing Finch in full view.
The Grey Singing Finch or Grey Singer is also more formally known as the White-rumped Seedeater, its binomial name being Serinus leucopygius. An interesting fact about the Grey Singing Finch is that it is closely related to the Green Singing Finch, and in captivity the two species have been known to hybridize and produce offsprings that are possibly fertile. |
